Property Brothers to face-off in a home renovation competitionJune 13th, 2013 - Posted in Misc
If you want to see two identical brothers competing against each other in a new home renovation competition, be sure to check out HGTV.com/brothers for information about the new series premiering on July 21.
Brother vs. Brother will be a tough competition between Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott who will both be working with their teams. Both of them have the same goal – to do better than his brother. Their task is to take a real home, use a budget given to them and make the best choices and nicest work in order to increase the home value as much as possible and in doing so, also impress the judges.
The winning team will go home with $50 000. However, in each episode, the losing team loses one of their team members.
“Brother vs. Brother taps into Jonathan and Drew’s friendly sibling rivalry and gives them a chance to embrace their natural competitive streak in this winner-take-all competition. It also allows our viewers to see which improvements add real value once a home renovation is completed,” said Kathleen Finch from HGTV. “It also doesn’t hurt that it gives viewers a chance to see more of this fan favorite duo.”
Once the show premieres, you are also invited to take advantage of HGTV’s second screen experience as well as see behind-the-scenes footage through the Into Now app.
